Privacy Policy
This policy explains the categories of information OmniMod may collect, why that information is used, and the choices available to users of the website, member dashboard, downloads, and support services.
Important: This document is a polished starting template, not a substitute for legal review. It must be updated to match the actual hosting, analytics, authentication, payment, email, retention, and support systems used by OmniMod.
01 Information we collect
Depending on how you use the services, OmniMod may collect the following categories of information:
- Account information: name, email address, password hash, account identifiers, membership status, and authentication records.
- Billing information: subscription status, transaction identifiers, billing country, and limited payment metadata supplied by the payment processor. Full card details should not be stored by OmniMod.
- Project and support information: technical descriptions, uploaded logs, screenshots, environment details, correspondence, and files intentionally submitted for support or custom work.
- Usage and device information: IP address, browser or client version, operating system, timestamps, pages viewed, download events, and basic diagnostic data.
- Communications: messages sent through forms, email, Discord, or other support channels.
02 How information is used
Information may be used to operate and secure accounts, provide downloads and support, process subscriptions, respond to project requests, troubleshoot errors, prevent abuse, maintain service reliability, communicate important updates, and improve the user experience.
OmniMod should not sell personal information. Any advertising, analytics, or profiling practices should be described here if introduced later.
03 Payments
Subscription payments should be processed by a PCI-compliant third-party provider such as Stripe. Payment information entered on a hosted checkout page is governed by that provider’s own terms and privacy practices. OmniMod may receive confirmation of payment, subscription state, and limited billing details required to manage the account.
04 Sharing and service providers
Information may be shared with vendors that are necessary to operate the services, including hosting, database, authentication, payment, email, analytics, file storage, error monitoring, and customer-support providers. Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect users or the service, or as part of a business transfer.
Service providers should receive only the information reasonably necessary for their role and should be bound by appropriate contractual and security obligations.
05 Retention and security
Information should be retained only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, legal obligations, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, and enforcement of agreements. Retention periods may differ for account records, billing records, support tickets, logs, and custom project materials.
Reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards should be used. No online system can guarantee absolute security, and users should avoid submitting passwords, private keys, or unrelated confidential data through support forms.
06 Your choices
Subject to applicable law, users may request access, correction, deletion, or export of certain personal information. Users may also cancel subscriptions, update account details, and opt out of non-essential communications where those controls are available.
Some records may need to be retained for billing, security, legal, or legitimate operational purposes even after an account is closed.
07 Contact
Questions or privacy requests can be sent to support@omnimod.cc. Add the legal business name, mailing address, and any jurisdiction-specific contact details before publishing.
